Till Asset Management has let 18,555 sq ft at 210 Birchwood Boulevard, Warrington, to energy management and automation specialist Schneider Electric.
The company has taken the space across the ground and first floors of the recently refurbished 33,204 sq ft building. The quoting rent was £20/sq ft.
The deal follows a significant repositioning of the building following the departure of former occupier Avios, which had occupied the property for more than 20 years.
Nathan Lang, asset manager at Till Asset Management, said: “Following the departure of Avios, our objective was to reposition 210 Birchwood Boulevard as one of the premier office buildings in the Birchwood market. The comprehensive refurbishment has transformed the asset into a modern, highly sustainable workplace capable of meeting the requirements of leading occupiers. Securing Schneider Electric on a long-term commitment is a strong endorsement of both the building and the wider Warrington market.”
Ed Keany, from Edwards, which advised on the letting, added: “A key factor in securing tenants of this nature is a proactive management approach and commitment to quality, design and sustainability which aligned with the tenant’s ambitions. This letting reflects the continued strength of demand for best-in-class office accommodation in the North West and demonstrates the appeal of well-invested, future-focused assets.”
Schneider Electric was advised by CBRE.
