Housebuilder Spitfire Homes has secured planning permission for 240 new homes at the next phase of its Malabar development on the edge of Daventry.
When fully built out, the Malabar scheme will provide 1,100 homes across a 123-acre site. It will also feature more than 50 acres of public open space, connected by green corridors and more than three kilometres of walking and cycling routes.
Matt Vincent, operations director at Spitfire Homes, said: “We’ve consistently seen strong sales performance at Malabar, with only a limited number of homes currently available. Securing planning permission for the next 240 homes is a significant milestone, allowing us to build on that momentum and progress the next stage of delivery at our largest scheme to date.
“This approval marks an important step in Spitfire’s continued growth, supporting our long-term investment across the Midlands and enabling us to build on the success of Malabar as we expand our portfolio and deliver more high quality homes across the region.”
