Sterling Capitol has put the 9,700 sq ft 1 Sterling Court office building at Capitol Park in Leeds on the market.

The flagship building, which was formerly the headquarters of Real Radio and has recently been comprehensively refurbished, is available to buy or let.

Paul Beckett, CEO of Sterling Capitol, said: “This is a rare opportunity to purchase or to lease a splendid self-contained 9,700 sq ft contemporary building, which has been completely refurbished, in such a prominent location. These have been interesting times for the Leeds out-of-town town office market, but both Capital Park East and Capitol Park West remain stellar business parks, perfectly located next to the M62. The recent letting of Trueman House at Capitol Park, together with plans to extend the popular Village Hotel, underline the park’s attraction and potential.

“Capitol Park Leeds is one of the brightest success stories in the Yorkshire business parks sector and we are very proud of what we have achieved here, with recent lettings and a host of high-calibre occupiers including Create Fertility and Ideal Boilers. 1 Sterling Court has been fully refurbished to the highest specification to provide distinctive and contemporary offices. It would make the ideal HQ building for an expanding Yorkshire firm either to buy or to let. Alternatively, 3,000 sq ft floorplates are available to lease.”

Elizabeth Ridler, partner at Knight Frank in Leeds, which is joint agents on the building with JLL and Carter Towler, added: “1 Sterling Court occupies a position at the front of Capitol Park East, with great signage opportunities, overlooking the A653 road into Leeds and next to the M62. It also boasts 48 on-site secure parking places with EV charging points and ticks so many ESG boxes, which are at the core of Sterling Capitol’s real estate strategy.”
