Vail Williams has strengthened its South Coast team by hiring Luke Tubbs as an associate.

Tubbs, who is a MRICS RICS registered valuer, previously worked for Savills in Dorset for six years and has spent the last three years working in the London residential valuation team.

He specialises in residential and commercial property valuation and has a particular expertise in loan security valuations, residential development consultancy and development land.

Russell Miller, Vail Williams’ regional managing partner for the South Coast region, said: “Luke will be providing commercial and residential property valuation advice to clients across Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole (BCP), Dorset and the wider region. He is the latest addition to our dedicated multi-disciplinary team across Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth, working out of our office at Everdene House, Wessex Fields, opposite Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

“Having worked extensively across the south coast, Luke brings strong knowledge of the BCP and wider Dorset property markets. This local expertise is complemented by experience of complex and high-value valuation instructions in London, including prime central London. Luke combines detailed property valuation expertise with an understanding of development viability, land and the wider property market, enabling him to advise clients on both the value of an asset and the factors which may influence its future potential.”

Tubbs added: “In my new role at Vail Williams, I look forward to advising a broad range of clients including banks and other lenders, family offices, institutional investors, alternative lenders, securitised debt funds, developers and property owners.”
