Albion Land has let the 38,710 sq ft Building 8 at Catalyst Bicester technology park in Oxfordshire to an unnamed luxury EV business.

The company is now moving forward with phase three works, which will see 110,000 sq ft delivered across five new buildings. The buildings will be ready for occupation in Q1 2026.

Planning approval for phase four, which comprises three buildings, including an HQ building opportunity with direct frontage onto the A41, was granted last month.

Simon Parsons, director of Albion Land, said: “Confidence is high at Catalyst. We’re seeing strong interest on the leasing side, good progress with construction, and positive decisions on planning. Add in the chancellor’s commitment to and comments on growth in the Oxford to Cambridge Arc region and you can see why we’re building up a head of steam.

“We’re proud of the quality we’re delivering at Catalyst from the character and amenities of the park through to the nature of the occupiers. When we started construction back in 2021 we had a clear vision for what we wanted to achieve for the technology and advanced manufacturing sector. It’s excellent to see that coming to fruition.”
