Padrock has let a 77,657 sq ft unit at Hertford Logistics Hub to 4Wall Entertainment on a 15-year lease.

The business, which delivers large-scale live events and productions for tours by artists including Fat Boy Slim, Lewis Capaldi and 50 Cent, is consolidating its UK operations at the hub.

The 228,860 sq ft speculative multi-let industrial (MLI) and logistics scheme, which was built on an 11-acre brownfield site, comprises 16 leasehold units. Following completion of the letting to 4Wall, seven of the units – totalling 117,382 sq ft – are now let.

Darren Poultney, managing director (EMEA) at 4Wall, said: “Consolidating our UK operations at Hertford Logistics Hub will help us further implement our growth strategy. It was important for us to find strategically located accommodation that would enable us to deliver our services across the UK, provide our people with a great place to work, and that was sustainable. Hertford Logistics Hub is all of those things and more. It has been a pleasure working with the Padrock team who were attentive to our needs throughout. We now look forward to further evolving and growing 4Wall within the UK from our new location.”

Jamie Young, investment and development manager at Padrock, added: “Securing a letting of the size and stature of 4Wall is a ringing endorsement for Hertford Logistics Hub and we look forward to seeing the business continue to go from strength-to-strength. It is particularly pleasing to see how diverse our occupier base is at the development as we always intended to create a sustainable, versatile and flexible location with multiple possible uses. We have significant levels of interest in the remaining units and expect to be able to announce further new occupants in the short term.”

The joint letting agents for Hertford Logistics Hub are M1 Agency and Paul Wallace Commercial.
