BGRE has let 17,027 sq ft at The Gilbert office scheme in Finsbury Square, London, to an unnamed AI firm.

The company has taken the fully fitted Level 3 at The Gilbert, which includes 90 desks, 80 agile workstations, 14 focus rooms and call pods, a 24-person boardroom, meeting rooms and a large central kitchen and breakout hub.

The last available floor available at The Gilbert is the 13,460 sq ft Level 5, which includes a 1,401 sq ft terrace.

Rex Conyers Silverthorn vice president leasing at BGRE, formerly Brookfield Properties, said: “The days of occupiers choosing between speed and quality are gone. Businesses increasingly expect workspace that is ready to occupy, thoughtfully designed and capable of supporting different ways of working from the outset. This leasing at The Gilbert is another example of how demand is concentrating around distinctive buildings that offer both flexibility and a strong employee experience.”

Allsop & Newmark advised BGRE on the letting.
