Seddon Group has reached practical completion on a new regional headquarters facility in Wigan pre-let to Alegco.
Alegco is relocating to the 45,000 sq ft workshop, which sits on 10 acres of external hardstanding at Makerfield Way and was forward purchased by Aprirose, from its former home in Trafford Park and has leased the building on a 15-year lease.
Jamie Seddon, development director of Seddon Group, said: “We are delighted to have delivered the scheme on programme, with the creation of 100 new jobs to the satisfaction of both tenant and investor alike.”
Nathan Khanverdi, associate director in Colliers’ North West industrial and logistics team, which advised Seddon Group, added: “All parties and the council worked tirelessly to meet the tight timescales of Alegco. Testament to the quality of the build and the tenant we are really happy that this site has been forward purchased by a well renowned real estate investment company Aprirose.”
Aprirose is due to complete on the site imminently.
