BC Partners Real Estate is seeking a joint venture investment partner for its mixed-use One Museum Street development in London’s West End.

Last week, a High Court dismissed the judicial review brought against Camden Council’s decision to grant planning permission for the redevelopment of One Museum Street, clearing the way for the development to progress.

BC Partners Real Estate has appointed JLL to lead the process of identifying a suitable investor to co-develop the DSDHA-designed scheme, which features a 19-storey landmark office tower and 44 new homes, of which 19 will be affordable.

A demolition contract is due to be awarded this year ahead of a start in early 2025. Practical completion is scheduled for 2028.

Laurian Douin, partner at BC Partners Real Estate, said: “The High Court decision last week has removed the final hurdle for us to proceed with confidence in the One Museum Street project, and we are excited to bring on board a joint venture partner to help us realise this vision. This is a rare opportunity for investors to develop a super prime tower in the West End at the heart of a significant urban regeneration with strong sustainability credentials and a clear path to delivery.”
