Ultra-urban industrial investor and developer Bloom has appointed fit-out and refurbishment contractor Pexhurst Services to carry out the sustainable refurbishment of the 36,885 sq ft Imperial Studios site in Fulham.
Bloom secured planning consent earlier this year to transform 3-9 Imperial Road, which was originally built in 1935 as the garage and workshop of the Imperial Gas Light and Coke Company, into prime, ultra-urban warehouse space, which will be known as Bloom Fulham.
The refurbishment is the sixth project for Bloom’s £250m ultra-urban warehouse joint venture with Angelo Gordon. The partners are targeting BREEAM Very Good and an EPC A+ rating for the scheme, which will include solar panels and EV charging points. Completion is expected in the second quarter of next year.

It will offer businesses the chance to gain a foothold in a part of the city not known for an abundance of flexible business and light industrial space”.
