Bruntwood SciTech has completed a series of lettings at the 352,000 sq ft The Plaza building in Liverpool city centre.

Family-owned food and agriculture business The Billington Group has signed for 5,687 sq ft and professional services firm KPMG and wealth management and investment solutions company Hoxton Wealth have taken 2,583 sq ft.

As part of a £4.3m investment in its Liverpool portfolio, Bruntwood SciTech also intends to introduce a new gym for customers on the ground floor of the building, which is now 97% occupied.

Sam Birtwistle, associate commercial director at Bruntwood SciTech, a joint venture between Bruntwood, L&G and Greater Manchester Pension Fund, said: “These latest lettings demonstrate the breadth of demand we’re seeing at The Plaza, from global professional services firms to established regional businesses, all choosing the building for the quality, location and environment it offers their teams.

“As we continue to invest in the building, including the introduction of new amenities like the ground floor gym, we’re focused on ensuring The Plaza is a place where businesses and their people can thrive. We want to create an environment where people want to work and one that supports wellbeing, encourages collaboration and helps teams to be more productive and balanced day to day.”
