DWS has appointed Matthew Abbott as director of coverage for EMEA real estate.
Abbott, who has more than two decades of experience in the UK and European real estate industry, was most recently head of client development at L&G Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients and intermediaries.
Prior to that, Abbott spent eight years at Mercer and Aon as a real estate specialist, focusing on European fund research and advising institutional clients on real estate strategy and manager selection.
In his new role, he will be based in London and will support institutional capital raising, business development and investor relations for the DWS real estate platform across EMEA.
