Urban logistics platform Greenlight has secured three new tenants at its 70,000 sq ft Kings Heath asset in Birmingham, bringing the development to 50% let.
The joint venture between clients of Delancey Real Estate and Coltham, has let 5,500 sq ft to flooring contractor Headlam, 5,400 sq ft to GAP Plastics and a 5,500 sq ft unit to McDonald’s, which will be used as a dark kitchen.
The JV partners are targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A+ rating for the units at Greenlight Kings Heath, which is located just five miles from the M42 motorway.
David Owens, asset management director at Delancey, said: “Greenlight Kings Heath offers flexible industrial, warehouse, and trade counter space. Its excellent location and sustainability credentials are helping to attract a strong cohort of occupiers. We are pleased to welcome such an established group of names and we are in talks with several interested parties who are eager to occupy our remaining units.”
