Simpex has signed a pre-lease agreement on a 46,000 sq m (circa 495,000 sq ft) warehouse at Helios Logistic’s AyKa Helios Logistics Park, adjacent to Vienna Airport in Austria.
The logistics arm of international retailer Spar has agreed a 10-year lease at the 80,000 sq m (circa 861,000 sq ft) park, construction of which is due to commence next month with completion scheduled for March 2024.
Natalie Lever, European development director at Helios Logistics, said: “We are delighted to have signed a pre-let with Simpex for over half of the available space. We have a good relationship with Spar and hope to build on it going forward. AyKa Helios Logistics Park is the first scheme in our joint venture with AyKa Group which is the platform we have established to expand our activity in Europe.”
