Hilltop Property Partners has appointed Meiko Savard from Telford Homes as the company’s new chief investment officer.

Prior to joining Telford Homes in 2019, Savard was investment director at Greystar, where he jointly formed the BTR development function with Michela Hancock, who recently launched Hilltop Property Partners in partnership with Hilltop Capital Partners.

In his new role, Savard will lead investment strategy and capitalisation for the company’s growing pipeline of amenity-light, professionally managed rental housing.

Hancock said: “Meiko is an exceptional leader with deep expertise in institutional investment, development structuring, and capital partnerships. We worked closely together for nearly five years at Greystar, and his deal-execution experience in the UK aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver high-quality, attainable rental housing at scale. I’m thrilled to welcome Meiko to our expanding team.”

Savard added: “I’m delighted to be joining the team at Hilltop Property Partners and working with Michela again, as we address one of the most pressing challenges in the residential market – how to deliver well-managed, purpose-designed rental homes that remain within reach for working households. I’m excited to drive and grow the firm’s investment strategy and capitalise on its wide-ranging expertise in this vital and fast-growing asset class.”
