National trade kitchen supplier Howdens Joinery Group has signed a 15-year lease on a 8,538 sq ft warehouse unit at the Forge Mills Park development on the Coleshill Industrial Estate near Birmingham.
The property comprises modern warehouse accommodation with integrated offices, kitchen facilities and WCs. Following completion of the letting, the estate is fully occupied.
Ben Nicholson, industrial agency director at Burley Browne, which advised the private investor landlord on the letting, said: “Securing Howdens Joinery Group on a new 15-year lease at Forge Mills Park highlights the continued strength of occupier demand for well-positioned industrial accommodation in the Midlands.
“This was a detailed transaction involving a surrender and simultaneous new letting, and achieving the full asking rent reflects both the quality of the estate and the confidence occupiers continue to show in the location. Having a nationally recognised business such as Howdens commit to the estate is a significant endorsement of Forge Mills Park and means the scheme is now fully occupied.”
