LondonMetric Property has appointed Heraclis Economides as an independent non-executive director, effective 1 January 2027.
Economides, who has 30 years of investment banking experience, most recently served as managing director of investment banking Deutsche Numis until earlier this year.
During his 18 years at Deutsche Numis he was sector head of the building, property and real estate team, and prior to that he was managing director for equity capital markets at HSBC.
LondonMetric has also announced that Suzanne Avery will retire from the board on 22 March 2027, following nine years as a non-executive director.
Alistair Elliott, chair of LondonMetric, said: “Heraclis’s appointment is part of our ongoing board succession planning. I am pleased to welcome him as a non-executive director and I have no doubt the company will benefit from his significant investment banking experience. I look forward to working with him. I would also like to thank Suzanne for her service to LondonMetric and wish her well for the future following her retirement from the board.”
