A new purpose-led, residential development venture called Picture This has launched, with the aim of creating 10 communities in the UK over the next decade.
The Manchester-based company was created by Shannon Conway, formerly residential director at BTR developer Glenbrook, and Mike Nicholson, who was previously a director in JLL’s residential consultancy team.
Picture This has already struck a deal with its first joint venture partner and has 250 homes in the pipeline.
Conway said: “We are thrilled to be launching Picture This. We have a clear vision for our business – it is all about supporting the things that matter to people; low carbon design, delivering welcoming age-inclusive homes designed to promote health and happiness, and standing beside local businesses and creatives, bringing community to the fore. We plan to retain and operate Picture This developments, ensuring we are invested in the long-term success of the communities we help create.”
Nicholson added: “Shannon and I share the same values and vision, and we are looking forward to putting them into action with Picture This. We have exciting and ambitious growth plans, so as well as taking the lead on our own sites and opportunities, we are keen to partner with like-minded developers and land owners on larger scale, mixed use developments.
“We will be able to share more details about the first Picture This community in the next few months as we gear up to making a planning submission later this year.”
