BE News is delighted to reveal that Amanda Argent, retail director at Baird Group, owner of menswear brands such as Suit Direct and Ted Baker, will be delivering the retail keynote speech at the BE News ‘Spotlight on Retail: Revival of the Fittest’ event, taking place on 16 September in London’s West End.
The 2.5-hour free-to-attend event, which is sponsored by NewRiver REIT, Maples Teesdale, MRI Software and Lloyds Bank, is taking place between 5pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 16 September at the offices of host LCA in London’s West End.
Argent will be one of two keynote speakers at the event, which will be attended by up to 100 senior figures from across the real estate, retail and public sectors. Enrique Del Rio Mancebon, managing director – head of data commercialisation at Lloyds will also be delivering a keynote speech, on the critical role of consumer spend data in driving sector growth.
Their speeches will be followed by a one-hour Question Time-style panel debate, moderated by BE News editor-in-chief Liz Hamson and featuring panellists: Allan Lockhart, chief executive of NewRiver REIT; Vivienne King, founder, Impactful Places; Rob Wingrave, chief executive of Time Retail Partners; Dr Clive Black, director at Shore Capital; Charles Elgood, a partner at Maples Teesdale; and Jenni Matthews, marketing & insights director at MRI Software.
During the event, we will be exploring: the increasingly compelling investment case for retail real estate; the changing needs of customers, retail occupiers and capital markets; how retail is evolving to better meet those needs; and the role data, tech and AI can play in driving continued sector growth.
Following the keynote speeches and panel debate, attendees will have the opportunity to network with some of the most dynamic figures in retail real estate.
Spaces are strictly limited and going fast, so if you would like to attend this important and highly topical event, which is taking place at Berkshire House, 168-173 High Holborn, London WC1V 7AA, please register your interest by 5pm on Friday 29 August by emailing BE News head of client relations Sian Wilde at sian@benews.co.uk.
