Zephyr X has submitted plans to build a 23-storey build-to-rent (BTR) scheme at the corner of Carnarvon Street and Cheetham Hill Road in Manchester city centre.
Designed by Manchester-based architects Hawkins\Brown, the proposed development comprises 237 one- and two-bedroom apartments and a ground floor commercial unit.
Graham Haydon-White, managing director of Zephyr X, said: “We have taken the next exciting step on our journey to deliver a fantastic new residential development at Cheetham Hill Road by submitting a detailed planning application following our consultation with local stakeholders.
“Our proposals offer an exciting opportunity to support the ongoing regeneration of this increasingly vibrant corner of Manchester and to help meet the established demand for high-quality accommodation in the city centre. Being just a 10-minute walk from Victoria Station, with easy accessibility to additional public transport, this is an exceptionally sustainable location for our new build-to-rent development.”
