A purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) scheme has been put up for sale at Cheswick Village in Bristol with a guide price of £7.5m+.
The Cheswick Campus scheme, which provides 50 student bed spaces, is located on Long Down Avenue half a mile from the University of the West of England’s (UWE) Frenchay Campus. The scheme comprises 36 self‑contained studios and 14 cluster bedrooms, arranged across ground and first floors.
It is projected to generate annual rental income of approximately £677,000 for the 2026/27 academic year, with the potential for additional income from ancillary services. The campus is fully managed and there is also the potential for a future nomination agreement with UWE, subject to agreement.
Nick Reed, director of capital markets at CBRE South West, which has been appointed to marker the opportunity, said: “Bristol remains one of the most supply constrained student markets in the UK and that pressure is particularly acute around the UWE Frenchay Campus. Demand continues to significantly outstrip the availability of well‑located, purpose‑built accommodation, which is why schemes within walking distance of campus are increasingly hard to replicate.”
