Elite UK REIT has secured planning consent for a new data centre development at Peel Park in Blackpool.
The planning permission relates to a 20-acre plot at the park, which currently comprises underused car parking space, scrubland and trees.
The site, which is located next to offices leased to the DWP, is situated south of the M55 and benefits from strategic connectivity and proximity to subsea fibre-optic infrastructure. Elite UK REIT has secured a power supply of up to 120 MVA for the site.

We are now in a strong position to actively explore various strategic options for Peel Park, Blackpool to maximise value for our unit holders.
