The freehold of a part-completed development in Bideford, Devon, has been put up for sale by the adminstrators.
Developer Devonshire Homes went into administration in June 2026 and Jonathan Marston and Sarah Collins of Alvarez & Marsal Europe were appointed administrators.
The development, which is located on a circa 15.7-acre site to the east of Manteo Way, is part way through construction of Phases 3 and 4 out of five phases. The site comprises a mix of two- to five-bedroom family homes and apartments.
Ian Whittaker, director of Watling Real Estate, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “The site, The Grange, has planning permission for 225 houses, including 195 houses and 30 apartments. At the point of administrators being appointed, 112 of the properties had been built and sold. There is the opportunity to complete or build out and sell the remaining 113 homes and plots. Two houses have exchanged contracts and 10 have been reserved at the time of going to market, giving the potential for early sales.”
