Homes England has put a 0.74-acre residential development site in Basingstoke, Hampshire, up for sale.
The Hollies site previously had outline planning consent for 21 flats, which has now expired. It is being offered for sale exclusively to SME developers by informal tender.
The cleared, relatively flat site, which is located off Aldermaston Road in the Park Prewett area, was previously occupied as an outpatient facility by the Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust as a part of the adjacent Parklands Hospital and has been prepared for development by Homes England following its acquisition in 2018.
James Staveley, partner, planning and development at Carter Jonas, which has been appointed to market the opportunity, said: “This is an excellent development opportunity in a prime Basingstoke location. The site’s previous planning consent demonstrates its residential development potential, and we anticipate strong interest from SME developers looking for opportunities in this well-established area.”
The closing date for tenders is Friday 5 December 2025.
