The transformation of a former gas-holder site in Oldham into a major employment zone has got underway.
The scheme, which sits adjacent to Junction 22 of the M60, will deliver 192,000 sq ft of distribution and manufacturing space across 13 units ranging from circa 5,000 sq ft to 42,000 sq ft.
Russell WBHO is the construction partner for the project, which is led by developer Langtree in partnership with Oldham Council.
Langtree recently concluded a forward-funding deal with industrial investor and landlord Indurent, enabling construction work to begin.

Josh Downes, executive director – development, at Langtree, added: “This will be a game changer for Oldham. Architects Fletcher Rae designed the scheme and B8 has been appointed leasing agent.
