SEGRO has reached completion on its 239,665 sq ft urban industrial development in Hayes, west London, with only a single, 24,720 sq ft mid-box sized unit available to let.
SEGRO acquired the 30-acre site, which was formerly occupied by a Nestlé chocolate factory, in 2015 and developed it in partnership with Barratt London to create a landmark scheme delivering more than 1,300 new homes co-located alongside the industrial park.
The largest unit (96,700 sq ft) at SEGRO Park Hayes has been let to an international food and drink wholesaler and distributor and the developer has also secured a lease with Transglobal Express, which is upsizing from a SEGRO asset at Heathrow to a 35,000 sq ft unit at SEGRO Park Hayes.
